	Değişim Yönetimi 24 Mayıs 2008 tarihinde İstanbul Sanayi Odası Konferans Salonu’nda, gönül birliği ile gerçekleştirdiğimiz Türkiye Genç İşadamları Derneği’nin (TÜGİAD) 12. Olağan Genel Kurulu neticesinde değerli üyelerimizin teveccühleri ile 2008-2010 Dönemi yönetim görevini üstlenmiş bulunuyoruz.
In the 12th Ordinary Meeting of Turkish Young Businessmen Association (TÜGİAD) held on 24th May, 2008 in the Conference Hall of the Chamber of Commerce of Istanbul, we have been granted the management duty of our Association for the period 2008-2010 with the kind considerations of our respectful members. I hope that this new period will be propitious for our Association and I want to express my deepest respects to the honorable members of the council, particularly to Mr. Muharrem YILMAZ and to our honorary members, who honored us with their participation and provided to the 12th Ordinary Meeting a solemnity worth to TÜGİAD. As already underlined in our program called “Change Management” that we have submitted to the evaluation of the General Assembly, our goal is to position TÜGİAD as the efficient lobby force of the Young Business World, to provide full support to our members in finding new business opportunities and new markets and to make our Association a platform that sets the agenda in national/international level. Our slogan is; a TÜGİAD that produces ideas, that discusses, that has lobbying power, focused on knowledge, that adopts participative management, that has branches all over Turkey, that is professional, that takes side on the name of Turkish business world and that is adapted to the requirements of the time. While Turkey continues its eager and decided walk towards EU, TÜGİAD, which was the Vice-Chairman of the European Young Businessmen Confederation (YES) between 2000-2004 and then has taken over the Chairmanship for 3 subsequent period, will always be ready to serve to Turkey and to the bright future of Turkey. TÜGİAD will continue to mobilize its international know-how and institutional experiences to promote Turkey and of course, to develop international business possibilities for Turkish Young Businessmen. One of our goals of priority is to establish the London based UK Representation Office for TÜGİAD, which would follow TÜGİAD Brussels and TÜGİAD USA. I deeply believe that an office in UK would be a second and very important communication and lobbying center in EU, for TÜGİAD which is long accredited to the Turkish-British Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TBCCI) and represented in the management of the chamber. I think that the MCYE (Mediterranean Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs) Project which was created and implemented by the Commission of International Relations of TUGIAD, I'm proud of being a member since 2000, is a very efficient initiative in the field of international relation, like YES. Within the framework of this project, a big progress was made with the memorandum signed with the Egyptian Young Businessmen Association on the occasion of the visit of our President Abdullah GÜL in Egypt. The main purpose of the MCYE Project is to gather the national young businessmen associations of Mediterranean countries under the same institutional roof. This organization will make both Turkey and TÜGİAD a regional player in economic-strategic level and a lobbying power and on the other side will contribute to the creation of new business opportunities and new markets for Turkish businessmen. I want to state that we, as TÜGİAD, are ready to interpret and analyze global and/or local changes and new circumstances created by these changes and to work for the interests of Turkey and on this occasion, I present my sincere affections and respects to all the readers of Elegans.
